PEARLS for Teen Girls



PEARLS for Teen Girls is a nonprofit that empowers 5th-12th grade young women in the community by delivering curriculum that incorporates the PEARLS' attributes: Personal responsibility, Empathy, Awareness, Respect, Leadership and Support.

PEARLS engages in a number of annual events at which volunteers participate. These events include:
  • A fundraiser attended by 400+ guest
  • Holiday Party attended by 250+ PEARLS girls and their families
  • Program year Closing Ceremony Celebration attended by 250+ PEARLS girls and their families
  • Goal-setting Progress Celebration exclusively for PEARLS girls; and,
  • PEARLS Community Block Party attended by 300 PEARLS neighbors, girls and community partners.

Volunteers also assist in the preparation projects for events in the days leading up to them, such as centerpiece assembly; swag bag assembly; decorating place settings; assembling programs and name tags, as well as other event-related projects.
