If you want to learn and engage more with the Milwaukee community and meet fellow students with a passion for service, check out Students Engaged in Real Volunteer Experiences, or SERVE! SERVE is a cohort of 20 first-year students who volunteer, learn, and reflect together over the course of a semester.
Why join SERVE?
Participants are expected to participate in weekly service through Marquette Volunteer Corps (MVC), attend a one-day service event, participate in biweekly reflections to learn more about various social justice issues at play in Milwaukee and beyond, and attend two large-group reflection session in conjunction with other MVC volunteers.
SERVE provides an opportunity for students to explore service and critically engage with the Milwaukee community and create a community with their peers they can carry forward into the rest of their time at Marquette.
