Colleges Against Cancer at Marquette

About

Colleges Against Cancer is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and sta dedicated to eliminating cancer by initiating and supporting programs of the American Cancer Society in college communities. Colleges Against Cancer has many events throughout the year. We have various events throughout the year such as the Great American Smokeout - which gets out awareness on lung cancer, Paint Marquette Purple - which raises awareness of the American Cancer Society throughout campus, and many other events that promote awareness of breast cancer, testicular cancer, skin cancer, and other cancers. We fundraise throughout the year to raise money for Generation Hope. We commemorate those who have lost their lives to cancer as well as give hope, support and strength to those still fighting and celebrate those who have survived. Cancer has touched and aected the lives of many in our Marquette community and Colleges Against Cancer is a group aimed towards bringing those people together so that no one has to fight or go through it alone.
