Friedens Community Ministries

Friedens is a network of food pantries building ladders of peace throughout Milwaukee. We operate three emergency food pantries in the Milwaukee area supplying needy families with 3-5 days worth of food. - Main office: Friedens Panty inside the Marcia P. Coggs Human Services Center, located on the lower level. Our services at this location are provided only to those who are delayed or denied food share (food stamp). -Second Pantry: Despensa De la Paz, located inside the rectory building for Council for the Spanish Speaking (1615 S. 22nd St). This is a traditional pantry where families can come once a month. -Third Pantry: JCY Pantry, located inside John C. Cudahy YMCA (9050 W. Swan Rd.). This location is also a traditional pantry where the families can come once a month. We are a member of the Milwaukee Food Pantry Network and have partnership agreements with Hunger Task Force and Feeding America. Friedens Community Ministries is a member agency of United Way of Greater Milwaukee.
