Garden Maintenance

Help us care for the Milwaukee Grows Garden Network! The network consists of over 85 active gardens in the city, where folks grow vegetables, flowers, native plants, and relationships with one another.

Tasks for garden workdays vary, but generally include weeding, mowing, planting, hauling dirt & woodchips, etc.

Folks should be prepared for work outside in various conditions. Volunteers are asked to wear closed toed shoes and bring a water bottle.
